Health conditions – physical disabilities, mental health challenges, addiction, or chronic illness
Life events – such as bereavement, redundancy, relationship breakdown, or trauma
Resilience – low emotional resilience or lack of financial buffer to absorb shocks
Capability – limited financial literacy, confidence, or digital skills
Behavioural triggers – compulsive trading, excessive risk-taking, or neglect of personal responsibilities
