ThinkMarkets supports USDT as an account base currency on eligible accounts across:
- ThinkTrader
- MetaTrader 4 (MT4)
- MetaTrader 5 (MT5)
USDT availability may depend on your account, region and the ThinkMarkets entity under which your account is held.
Can I use USDT on TradingView?
Yes, where supported.
TradingView connects to a ThinkTrader account rather than directly to an MT4 or MT5 account.
If you have an eligible ThinkTrader account with USDT as the base currency, you can connect that ThinkTrader account to TradingView and trade through the TradingView interface.
MT4 and MT5 accounts cannot be connected directly to TradingView.
Is USDT a separate trading platform?
No.
USDT is an account base currency, not a trading platform.
For example, you may have:
- a ThinkTrader account denominated in USDT;
- an MT4 account denominated in USDT; or
- an MT5 account denominated in USDT.
Does USDT change the products I can trade?
Not by itself.
The products available depend primarily on:
- your trading platform;
- account type;
- country of residence;
- ThinkMarkets entity; and
- current product availability.
Check your trading platform or the relevant Contract Specifications for the instruments available on your account.
