An MT4 trading account cannot be converted into or used directly as a ThinkTrader trading account.
MT4 and ThinkTrader are separate platforms with separate trading accounts.
How do I start using ThinkTrader?
If you already have an MT4 account, you can create an additional ThinkTrader account where eligible.
- Log in to ThinkPortal.
- Select Create Live Account.
- Choose ThinkTrader where available.
- Select the required account currency and available settings.
- Create the account.
You can then log in to ThinkTrader web/mobile app using the ThinkTrader account.
Can I use my MT4 login in ThinkTrader?
No.
An MT4 account works only on MT4.
Likewise, a ThinkTrader account cannot be used to log in to MT4.
Can I transfer funds between the accounts?
Inter-account transfers may be available between eligible accounts under the same client profile.
The available transfer options will be shown in ThinkPortal.
What leverage is available on ThinkTrader?
Leverage depends on product, jurisdiction and client eligibility.
Eligible ThinkTrader accounts under supported entities can use dynamic leverage, including up to 1:5,000 on selected major forex instruments.
