Can I withdraw using a different method from what I used to deposit?

Generally, deposited funds must be returned to the original verified funding source.

This is known as the back-to-source policy.

Can another method ever be used?

Yes, in certain circumstances.

An alternative withdrawal method may be considered when:

  • the original funding method can no longer receive the refund; or
  • the applicable back-to-source obligations have already been satisfied.

An alternative withdrawal destination is subject to verification and approval.

Can I withdraw to someone else's account?

No.

The withdrawal destination must normally be in the same name as the ThinkMarkets account holder.

Third-party:

  • bank accounts;
  • cards;
  • wallets; and
  • payment accounts

cannot be used.
