MetaTrader 4 (MT4) is a third-party trading platform supported by ThinkMarkets in eligible regions.
With a supported ThinkMarkets MT4 account, clients can:
- trade eligible forex and CFD instruments;
- use Standard or ThinkZero pricing, depending on account type;
- use Expert Advisors (EAs) for automated trading;
- install custom indicators and scripts;
- place market and pending orders;
- use Stop Loss and Take Profit orders; and
- access MT4 through supported desktop, mobile or web versions.
An MT4 trading account is specific to MT4.
The same MT4 credentials cannot be used to trade on MT5 or ThinkTrader, and MT4 does not connect directly to TradingView.
ThinkZero forex and metal symbols on MT4 use the “x” suffix where applicable.
The exact instruments and whether MT4 is available depend on your country and ThinkMarkets entity.
