MetaTrader 5 (MT5) is a multi-asset MetaTrader platform supported by ThinkMarkets in eligible regions.
With a supported ThinkMarkets MT5 account, clients can:
- trade eligible forex and CFD instruments;
- use Standard or ThinkZero pricing, depending on account type;
- use Expert Advisors (EAs), custom indicators and scripts;
- use MetaTrader strategy-testing functionality;
- place market and pending orders;
- use Stop Loss and Take Profit orders; and
- access a broader product range than MT4 in many ThinkMarkets configurations.
MT5 also supports eligible synthetic instruments and ThinkCopy where those products are available.
An MT5 account is specific to MT5.
It cannot be used to log in to MT4 or ThinkTrader and cannot connect directly to TradingView.
ThinkZero forex and metal symbols on MT5 use the “x” suffix where applicable.
The exact MT5 products and availability depend on your country and ThinkMarkets entity.
