What happens to my open positions when I log out of MT4/MT5?

Open positions won’t be closed until an existing stop loss, take profit, or margin stop out is reached, or if you choose to close it yourself. Existing pending stop or limit orders will also be filled if the entry rate is met.

Please note that for trailing stop-loss orders or Expert Advisor to run, your MT4/MT5 platform must be open, and you must be logged in.
