How do I save the settings of my chart on MT4/MT5?

To save a chart you have previously set up, use one of the following methods:  

  • Right-click the chart and choose the ‘Template’ tab. Next, select the ‘Save template’ tab and rename it according to your preference.

  • Select the chart and click the ‘Charts’ tab in the main menu. Next, select ‘Template’ and then ‘Save template’.

To apply these settings to a chart later, right-click the chart and select the template you created previously.
